Boaz and the plastic bag trick

I read an article on Moving Truth about using a plastic bag rubber banded to your camera flash so your light is diffused, and decided to give it a try. Here's some results.

Portaites of Laurel

I made a backdrop out of pvc pipe, and I am very much enjoying that! Here are some of the first pictures I took using it. She is one bad girl!

The first D80 pictures

Here are a few pics I took with my D80. The sun was really harsh, so I had a hard time getting them to look right.

Laurel. As you can see, my 300mm lens creates a wonderful shallow depth of field!

And here she is! (notice the lunge-line)

Putting Teeter Bob away

I also took some pictures this weekend, and I will post them as soon as I get them uploaded, so hang loose!

Nikon D80

I finally got the Nikon D80. So far I really like! I haven't had the chance to do much with it yet, so please be patient!
I have been shooting with a 70-300mm lens, and I am supposed to get a 28-80mm lens in the mail today. I can't wait!
I'll post some pictures soon.

Fourth of July

Here are some pics from the 4th of July celebration.

On The Farm
